Taapsi
Taapsi
Adult
Here since: 2 weeks

Taapsi was rescued with a severe maggot wound around her shoulder.

The wound had developed a deep cavity with infection and discharge by the time she arrived. We immediately removed the maggots using ivermectin and started her on antibiotics, painkillers, and supportive medicines. Regular cleaning and dressing of the wound has been ongoing to help it heal properly.

Taapsi was also weak when she was rescued, so we have been monitoring her closely while providing nutritional and liver support to aid her recovery.

She is responding well to treatment, and the wound is gradually improving. Although there is still some pain and discharge, the infection is under control, and she continues to heal with regular care.

Taapsi still has some time ahead before she recovers completely, but she is making steady progress every day.

You can sponsor Taapsi to support her treatment and recovery.
