Bhanu was rescued from Bhawarna with a severe maggot wound around his eye, deep enough that the bone was visible. Numerous maggots were removed, and the area has been under regular cleaning since. New muscle and tissue have started forming, and we are now waiting for skin to grow over the site. Since the eye itself is completely damaged, it will be closed permanently once healing is complete.
