Tayi was rescued from Holta PTC due to a severe maggot wound on her ear. The injury was quite serious when she arrived, with a strong smell, maggots, and significant pain. Due to the damage, a part of her ear had to be removed to help her heal properly. Since then, we have been regularly cleaning and dressing the wound, along with applying ointment and providing antibiotics and painkillers. Tayi is doing much better now, but ear wounds take time to heal completely. She will need continued care and monitoring during her recovery.
