Kaku

Kaku was rescued from Kangra with a deep injury on his back leg. The wound had maggots and was badly infected when he arrived. We have been cleaning the wound with ivermectin to remove the maggots, and he is also on antibiotics and painkillers. Regular cleaning with NS and betadine is being done, along with gauze dressing to help drain the pus from the wound. He is under constant care, but deep infected wounds take time to heal properly. Kaku is improving slowly, step by step, and will need continued treatment and support for full recovery. You can sponsor Kaku to support his treatment and recovery.
