Prakaram

Prakaram was rescued from Nagrota Bagwan with a severe horn injury. The horn was completely missing, and the area was swollen and full of maggots. We removed all the maggots and started treatment with antibiotics and painkillers. Daily cleaning and dressing of the wound is being done. We are not bandaging the area, as covering it can lead to pus buildup. Instead, it is being treated as an open wound so it can heal properly from inside. She is better now, but horn injuries are deep and take time to recover. Prakaram has already come a long way, but she still needs care and time to heal fully.
