Chai was rescued along with her calf, Latte, who was weak in his legs. Chai is completely healthy. She has been brought in so that Latte can stay with her and feel comfortable during his recovery. Once Latte recovers, both of them will be released back. You can sponsor Chai and Latte to support their care during this time.
