Kalu was rescued in Jawali after being found with a serious injury to his tail that needed urgent attention. He arrived in pain and discomfort, and his tail had to be amputated to help him heal. Kalu is currently under close care at Peepal Farm, where his wound is cleaned and dressed regularly to support his recovery.
