Rehlu

Rehlu was rescued from Rehlu after he suffered a severe open fracture in his front leg. The injury had also caused a dislocation in his elbow. Initially, his caretakers took him to Palampur, where bandaging was done to stabilize the limb. However, due to the complexity of the injury and difficulties in managing his care, the limb deteriorated quickly. Within a week, the leg had become completely damaged and dried out due to necrosis. At that stage, the only way to relieve his pain and prevent further complications was to amputate the affected limb. The surgery has now been carried out, and Rehlu is currently under post-operative care. His surgical site is being cleaned regularly, and he is being closely monitored during recovery. In about two weeks, his sutures will be removed, after which we will evaluate his condition.
