Sujata

Sujata was brought to us from Sujanpur for her spay surgery. However, due to bad weather, we were unable to schedule her surgery immediately. Within two days of being here, Sujata went into labor and gave birth. She delivered six puppies. Sadly, one of them did not survive. The remaining five puppies are currently with us, safe and nursing under their mother’s care. Sujata is still lactating and is being closely monitored. The good news is that she is eating well and caring for her puppies. Once the puppies are a little older and stronger, we will begin the process of putting them up for adoption. After they are independent, Sujata will be spayed and released back to the area she was rescued from, so she does not have to go through repeated pregnancies again. By sponsoring Sujata and her puppies, you help cover their nutrition, medical care, vaccinations, and spay surgery.
