Pepper

Pepper was rescued from Ansui after she was found with a severe open fracture in her hind leg. The injury was extremely painful and could not heal on its own. Pepper was started on pain relief and antibiotics immediately. When she stopped eating properly, she was also given fluid therapy to support her body. Sadly, the fracture was so severe that the only way to save her life was to amputate her injured leg. Along with post-surgery care, Pepper also had an open wound, which is being treated with regular cleaning to prevent infection and help it heal. She is currently recovering, and in about two weeks, her sutures will be checked to see if they can be removed. Once Pepper has healed from surgery, she will be spayed before being released, so she doesn’t have to face further suffering.
