Dheemi

Dheemi was rescued from Bhawarna after suffering multiple fractures across her body. Because of the seriousness of her injuries, we took her to Palampur for specialised care. Initially, surgery was planned for Dheemi, but when she was taken again for review, fresh X-rays showed that callus formation had already begun — a sign that her bones had started healing on their own. Based on this, the doctors advised strict cage rest instead of surgery. Dheemi is now on complete cage rest for two weeks to allow her fractures to heal properly. After this period, we will repeat her X-ray to assess her recovery. If the bones have healed well, Dheemi will be released back to her area after being spayed, so she doesn’t have to go through this suffering again.
