Chippu

Chippu was rescued from Shahpur after he was found suffering from a severe skin condition. To understand the cause, our team conducted a skin scrape, which confirmed demodectic mange (Demodex). Chippu has now been started on a comprehensive treatment plan. This includes antibiotics, anti-allergy medication, supportive supplements, and weekly Doramectin injections. He is also receiving medicated baths and regular cleaning of his body with Betadine to help his skin heal and prevent secondary infections. A total of four injections are scheduled, after which we will repeat the skin scrape to assess his progress. During his examination, we also evaluated Chippu’s penile region and found that he has TVT. For this, he has been started on weekly Vincristine chemotherapy, which will continue alongside his skin treatment. Chippu is undergoing multiple treatments at the same time and will need close monitoring and continued care in the coming weeks.
