Voodoo

Voodoo was rescued from Bhawarna after suffering a severe eye injury. Her eye was completely out, and it appeared that she had been hit. There was no sensation left in the eye, and it could not be saved. To relieve her pain and prevent infection, our team had to surgically remove the damaged eye. The surgery was necessary to save her life and give her a chance to heal without constant suffering. Voodoo is now in recovery. She is on antibiotics and pain relief, and her condition is being closely monitored. In about two weeks, we will check her sutures. She will need around 20 more days of care before she can heal properly. Once she is stable, Voodoo will also be spayed before being released, so she doesn’t have to face this kind of suffering again.
