Uno

Uno was brought to us from Dhirni by concerned locals, after suffering a severe eye injury. One of her eyes was completely out, causing immense pain and putting her life at risk. To save her, our team had to perform an eye enucleation surgery. Before the surgery, blood tests were done to make sure she was stable enough to undergo the procedure. The surgery was successful, and Uno is now in recovery. She is currently on antibiotics and pain relief, and her wound is being cleaned regularly to prevent infection. Uno will need about 15 more days for healing, after which her sutures will be opened. Uno is just 1.5 months old — still a baby — and once she has recovered fully, we will try to find her a loving home through adoption. Despite losing an eye, she has a full life ahead of her with the right care and love. By sponsoring Uno, you help cover her surgery, medicines, tests, and daily care during recovery.
