Jonny

Jonny was rescued from Tang because his life was in danger. His owners kept him tied up all the time and said he had become aggressive. They told us they would kill him, and there was no option but to step in and rescue him. Jonny did not have any physical injuries when he came to us. What he needed wasn’t medical treatment — it was freedom, safety, and patience. He has since been neutered, and while Jonny can be a little anxious around new people at first, he becomes friendly and affectionate once he gets to know you. His behaviour reflects a dog who was never allowed to be himself, not a dog who is “bad” or “dangerous”. Jonny is now ready for adoption. We are looking for a forever home for him — a place where he is treated as a living being with a personality, not as a commodity or something to be tied up and forgotten. If you can offer Jonny patience, kindness, and respect, he will offer you loyalty and love in return.
