Natwarlal was rescued from Kangra after suffering a fracture in his hind leg. The injury was painful and made it difficult for him to move safely. After confirming the fracture with an X-ray, our team applied a plaster to support the broken bone. Unfortunately, on just the second day, Natwarlal broke the plaster, and we had to redo it carefully. Because the fractured bone edge is sharp, there is a risk of further injury, making his treatment even more delicate. The plaster is now intact, and Natwarlal is on strict rest to allow the bone to heal properly. His recovery will take time — around one and a half months — and requires close monitoring. He is being given calcium supplements to support bone healing, along with antibiotics and pain relief to prevent infection and keep him comfortable.
