Peggi was rescued from Baidi after a cruel wire trap left her front leg badly damaged. The injury was so severe that the joint was cut, and her hind leg was swollen with edema. Our first priority was to control her infection so that she could be stable enough for surgery. Soon, Peggi will undergo amputation to finally free her from the pain of her damaged leg.
