Arhar was rescued from Kangra after locals spotted her hiding behind an office building. She’s a very anxious dog, which made catching her quite a challenge. But when we finally did, we found a maggot-infested wound on her back—there were lots of maggots, and she was clearly in pain. Her treatment is now underway with regular cleaning, antibiotics, and pain management. She is also unspayed, so we’ll make sure to sterilize her before releasing her back.
