Basanti, a German Shepherd cross, was rescued from a local stream after being abandoned. Despite kind locals trying to feed her, constant fights with street dogs left her vulnerable and at risk, so we brought her to safety. She has been spayed, her vaccinations have started, and she is currently in foster care to keep her safe from infections. Basanti is a friendly, playful, and hyperactive girl who loves both people and dogs. She’s also leash trained, though still a little weak — but her health and spirit have improved significantly.
