Anjeer, a young calf, was shifted to us from Sarah Gaushala after a severe ear infection caused by ear tagging. The wound had developed serious gangrene, and she was almost at the stage of needing surgery. It wasn’t healing at the gaushala, but with proper care here, she’s doing much better now. We had to crop part of her ear to stop the infection from spreading further. She’s also a bit weak internally, so supplements and antibiotics are being given regularly.
