Savitri

Savitri is a cow who was rescued from Baidi with a maggot-infested wound in the hoof joint of her right hind leg. The injury had gone deep—her tendon was damaged and there was a lot of pus when she came in. We immediately began antibiotics and started regular wound dressing. While some pus is still present, new skin has started to grow, and the healing is progressing steadily. With continued care and your support, Savitri has a real chance at a full recovery and a pain-free life.
