Rakesh has spent years surviving on the streets of Kangra, but when TVT took hold, his fight became even harder. Weak and losing his appetite, he was struggling to hold on. Without urgent treatment, things would only get worse. Now, he’s finally getting the care he needs. Chemotherapy is underway, along with supplements and antibiotics to help him regain strength. Finding food he would eat was a challenge—we tried everything to avoid putting him on fluid therapy. Slowly but surely, he’s improving. Once he’s strong enough, we’ll also castrate him to keep him safe before he returns to his world. Rakesh’s journey to recovery is still ongoing, and he needs your support.
