This gentle 2-month-old calf was rescued from Kangra with a deep wound on her back from a dog attack. When we found her, she was surrounded by other mother-calf pairs, but her own mother was nowhere to be seen. We rescued her alone, asking the locals to inform us if they found her mother. Furti is receiving regular wound dressings, along with antibiotics and painkillers to help her heal. It will take about two months for her to recover fully.
