Star is a healthy calf who was rescued along with her mother, Moon. While Star herself is in good health, it was essential to rescue her as well to ensure she stays close to her mother, who is undergoing treatment for a severe maggot wound in her vaginal area. Keeping them together is important for both of their comfort and well-being during Moon’s recovery.
