Chunki

Chunki, a female dog with a tragic story, came to us under unusual circumstances. When we first received the call, we were told she was a pet, and her elderly owners asked if we could treat her at home. As we only rescue stray animals, we initially declined. But when we finally arrived, we were told she wasn’t a pet; she was a stray, suffering from TVT (a transmissible venereal tumor) and a severe wound that had caused her immense pain. Her condition was worse than we could have imagined. The family admitted they couldn’t care for her, so we brought Chunki back to our hospital. Since then, Chunki has been with us, but her spirit seems broken. She’s deeply depressed, often found in the same spot day after day, barely moving. She won’t even eat when someone is nearby, and it’s clear that she’s lost a lot of trust in the world. Chunki needs more than just medical care; she needs love, patience, and someone who believes in her recovery. Will you be the one to help Chunki find her way back to happiness? Sponsor her today!
