Paul was rescued with a deep wound on his right hip.

The injury was painful and swollen when he arrived, with a deep laceration that required immediate treatment. We started him on antibiotics and supportive medicines, while regular cleaning and dressing of the wound has been carried out to prevent infection and help it heal.

As the wound began to recover, some damaged skin had to be removed surgically so that healthy tissue could heal properly. Since then, the wound has continued to improve, with healthy new tissue developing.

Paul is doing much better now. The swelling and pain have reduced significantly, and the wound is healing well with continued care and monitoring.
