Lakhvir was rescued with a deep wound on his front left leg and a dislocated right hip.

The wound was painful and swollen when he arrived, with signs of infection and damaged tissue. We immediately started him on antibiotics, painkillers, calcium and supportive medicines, along with regular cleaning and dressing of the wound.

Every day, dead tissue is carefully removed to help healthy skin grow back, and the wound is cleaned and bandaged to prevent further infection. He also had ticks, which have been treated, and is receiving nutritional support to aid his recovery.

Lakhvir is showing gradual improvement. His wound is becoming smaller, but because it was deep and his hip injury also needs time to heal, he will require continued treatment and monitoring before he can make a full recovery.
