Chamkila

Chamkila was rescued from Yol because of severe hoof overgrowth in one of his hind legs. Over time, the overgrown hoof also caused a wound in the area. Right now, we are focusing on healing the wound first. Regular cleaning is being done with NS and betadine to prevent infection and help the area recover. Once the wound heals properly, we will trim the hoof and then assess his long-term condition. Depending on his recovery and mobility, we will decide whether he can be released or if he may need to stay with us as a permanent resident. Chamkila still has a long recovery ahead and needs continued care and support. You can sponsor Chamkila to support his treatment and recovery.
