Rojin is a senior boy who has gotten the wrong end of the stick - literally.
For his first 11 years, he dodged cars, dug through garbage for scraps, fought off aggressive dogs, and managed to avoid fatal run-ins with humans who sought to injure him. As his body began to slow down due to age, he found himself being beaten with a stick for not moving out of the way quickly enough. During this beating, one of Rojin's vertebrae was fractured, before he managed to limp away. He could barely stand, so when our team spotted him we brought him to safety at the farm.
Rojin is currently on painkillers, glucosamine supplements, calcium supplements, and bed rest. Against all odds, he has found a forever home in Canada, with a warm bed, and loving human companionship! We hope to send him in January, after some time to heal.
